These honors were added to her first award in 2011, when she was distinguished as one of the 100 Brightest Women in Mexico.

An International Portraitist on Porcelain, Author, Entrepreneur, Broadcaster, Interior Designer, and Philanthropist, also known as “The Aztec of Porcelain,” she conquered Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

She is the creator and founder of the global luxury art products brand Luxury EK VIP, launched in 2012, today acquired in more than 40 countries.

Since her arrival in Europe in 2008, the success of the Mexican-Spanish artist has been in crescendo until she consolidated herself as one of the most sought-after porcelain portrait painters in the world.

In her 16-year career as a Portraitist, she has traveled the globe giving conferences and masterclasses with her own avant-garde method to hundreds of artists and professors from countries such as the United States, Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Spain, France, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, India, Lebanon, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, China, and Switzerland.

In 2009 she married Spanish entrepreneur Manu Paqué (who also served as her manager for 12 consecutive years), and she then moved her residence to the city of Barcelona, Spain.

She has participated in various International Exhibitions and Conventions in several countries; her works are represented in more than 60 galleries and virtual spaces, and have been acquired by private collectors.

She was an honored guest of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit Kitiyakara of Thailand, as Mexico’s representative at one of the International Conventions hosted by the Royal Household.

As an Author and Communicator, she shares her experiences on social media, promoting personal development (The Art of Living), becoming an inspiring Motivational Influencer for Spanish-speaking audiences.

In 2018 she founded Kannan Home, a company specializing in interior design and residential decoration, launching her new career as an Interior Designer (EK Interiors), which led to her appointment as Director of Interior Design and Decoration of the Xperienz Living Project.

Since 2019 she has welcomed students from around the world at her International Art Academy EK in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The life and career of Edna Kannan have inspired renowned painters in the United States, Spain, China, and Mexico, who have also created works of art portraying her image.

From the very beginning of her career, her global humanitarian contributions have been numerous, as she has been an active participant and collaborator in various organizations and altruistic causes of all kinds—most notably international campaigns against animal cruelty.
